Your openness and willingness to share life experiences, traumas and triumphs, has guided us into our 2024 Check Inn Programme! You’ve given us a different view of life! ‘Check Inn Weekends’ aim to explore this ‘difference’ further.
Each month we will have an open home for women keen to explore and develop women’s experience of wholeness with all its potential for our resilience and happiness. Check Inns are gifts we give each other as we yearn for answers and resources for ourselves and others.
Women can plan a monthly day trip to Piha and join us at Te Wahi Ora Women’e Retreat for a 30 minute Check Inn, join the one hour group sessions, enjoy refreshments and shared lunch. Attend any or all Check Inn’s. Totally your choice! There is no cost for Check Inns!
We will still have accommodation available on these weekends at our usual rates and subsidies.
What happens at a Check Inn?
Visit to Te Wahi Ora Women’s Retreat between 10am – 4pm during the last weekend of the month (starting in April 2024) and you will have a chance to:
- Raise an issue that you need clarification on.
- Discuss a predicament that seems to need ‘more’ than you feel you have
- Talk over a problem with another woman who has been there.
- Join in our hour long group discussions held Saturday and Sunday at 10.30 am & 2.00 pm
- Find a book or leaflet on a topic or issue currently on your plate.
- Language a new belief that is emerging organically within you!
There is a magic that happens while sharing a meal. While you are here join us for a light shared lunch or help yourself to morning and afternoon refreshments throughout the day.
We are not teaching spirituality or beliefs.
You are exploring yours. We would like to assist in the constructing and languaging of your own beliefs.
Beliefs around parenting, beliefs around justice, war, illness, money, failure, success! In fact, Beliefs around anything in our lives that feels heavy, overwhelming, or fun, heartwarming and inspirational. Leave with a different view of your issue and available resources
