Women have been enjoying Te Wahi Ora Women’s Retreat beachside accommodation for the past 25 years. Our accommodation is enclosed in a private garden setting.

Bedding and linen are supplied, with tea and coffee making facilities in each room.
Piha Beach is directly over sand dunes in front of the Retreat so you can breath the fresh sea air and fall asleep to the sound of the sea.
Te Wahi Ora offers short-term retreat accommodation.

THE SEA VIEW SUITE
The Sea View Suite has a double bed, ensuite, it’s own deck and a sea view out to the Tasman Ocean. Your personally chosen breakfast is delivered to your room. Enjoy at your leisure. If you don’t feel like putting down that book, or just feel like privacy, we can bring your other meals to you on a tray as well. Having your meals brought out to your room can also be a good option for immune compromised women taking extra care regarding Covid-19. This room has a TV, DVD, refrigerator as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The ensuite has a shower, however, we do have a bath in the main house if you feel like a long soak.
The Sea-View Suite is $260.00 GST included for 24 hours (includes meals, and snacks)
All meals included. Bedding and linen are supplied.
GARDEN CHALETS
There are two Garden Chalets – Pohutakawa Chalet and Sunflower Chalet. Each is a private chalet with single bed, desk, armchair, TV and DVD as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Your personally chosen breakfast is delivered to your room. Enjoy at your leisure. If you don’t feel like putting down that book, or just feel like privacy, we can bring your other meals to you on a tray as well. Having your meals brought out to your chalet can also be a good option for immune compromised women taking extra care regarding Covid-19. Chalets share a detached bathroom.
GARDEN CHALETS are $195.00 GST included for 24 hours (includes meals, and snacks)

There is also the Garden Room located in the main retreat house. The Garden Room is a cosy single room on the ground floor that is in close proximity to the bathroom. It is also close to the kitchen which, is often a hub of activity so this room can be less suitable for women who are noise sensitive. The Garden Room has a lovely deck overlooking the garden.

RETRO CARAVAN
There is something very nostalgic about staying in a caravan by the sea. We have a delightful redecorated Retro Caravan nestled in the garden. The caravan has a double bed, TV and DVD as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Your personally chosen breakfast is delivered to your room. Enjoy at your leisure. If you don’t feel like putting down that book, or just feel like privacy, we can bring your other meals to you on a tray as well. Having your meals brought out to your caravan can also be a good option for immune compromised woman taking extra care regarding Covid-19. The Caravan shares a detached bathroom.
The Retro Caravan is $195.00 GST included for 24 hours (includes meals, and snacks)

DAISY LOUNGE
The upstairs Daisy Lounge can be booked as a bedroom. It has wide sweeping sea views, afternoon sun (and sunsets) and outside deck (best in summer) There is a refrigerator as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is a shared bathroom adjacent to the room.
